Both of the teams played their last game in Jolly Old London. The Falcons have been sitting on a week of rest after a win, whereas the Dolphins elected to play the following week, and off a loss.
Miami lost to the powerhouse otherwise known as the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was also 4,400 miles from home as the game was played in London.
It’s a con-conference game against a team that has had two weeks to prepare for this one.
There isn’t a worse look than to see an almost-playoff team last year lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Miami is in 32nd place out of 32 teams in rushing the ball at a clip of 72 yards per game. That number drops to 50 if you consider only the past three games.
The Falcons have won two of their last three. In that time Matt Ryan has thrown 8 TD’s with no INT’s. It looks like they are getting comfortable under new coach Arthur Smith. They will be getting both Calvin Ridley and fellow WR Russell Gage.
Kyle Pitts has been killing it as a rookie TE living up to the hype.

The market is high on them after their performance against TB with Dak tossing for over 400 yards.
Chargers QB Herbert tossed for 337 yards. I would like to see them balance their offense a little more. Their leading rusher, Austin Ekler had only 57 yards on the ground. The team as a whole averaged less than 4 yards a carry.
Last year Dallas was 31st in the league in rushing yards per game behind only the Houston Texans.

Technically since it’s week one, it’s impossible to be considered a true sandwich game, so let’s refer to this one as an open-faced tuna melt. Each divisional game means a lot more than this one. Couple that with the fact that next week’s game will be on a short week for Washington as they play Thursday night. We’re not entirely sure how Saquon Barkley will respond to his season-ending surgery from last year. Also, keep in mind that Danny Dimes was at the bottom of most statistical categories at the QB position. 26th in yards per attempt, 29th in TD passes, 31st in completion%, 30th in QB rating.
The Giants’ offensive line currently ranks dead last in the league. The Broncos still have Bradley Chubb on their pass rush and now have a healthy Von Miller back and you can see him coming right down their throat.
The Broncos in the offseason acquired the sure-handed Teddy “Two Gloves” Bridgewater. The missing piece to last season’s puzzle that featured a pretty good defence, a solid running game behind Melvin Gordon III, and some really good TE play from Noah Fant. Their Head Coach and long-time DC, Don “Victor” Fangio should have his team well prepared for a week 1 road game.
